Sunshine Terrace was all about taking an existing vacation home and giving it a fresh identity without a full rebuild. Rather than starting from scratch, we focused on introducing bold moments of color, custom details, and layered lighting to transform the guest experience. Every design decision was intentional—from the custom wraparound ceiling treatment that extends through the dining room to the tone-on-tone ombré palette that creates a dramatic, immersive effect while still feeling sophisticated.

Lighting became one of the home's defining features. Integrated LED channels highlight the architectural details throughout the space, while the custom backlit agate light box creates a stunning focal point that completely transforms the atmosphere after sunset. Upstairs, the loft was reimagined as a Batman-inspired play space complete with a slide, allowing the entertainment to stay centralized while the themed bedrooms remain restful retreats. Outdoors, we carried the resort mindset into the patio with vibrant pops of key lime green and teal, creating a cheerful, tropical escape that feels like a boutique resort. The result is a vacation home that is playful, memorable, and highly customized—designed to leave a lasting impression on every guest who walks through the door.
