Key Lime Cove was one of those rare projects where we were given complete creative freedom. The owner trusted us with a blank canvas, and we embraced the opportunity to create something truly special.

The inspiration came from a recent trip I took to the Florida Keys. I wanted this home to capture that effortless feeling of coastal living—light, airy, relaxed, and designed around bringing people together. Every decision was made with the guest experience in mind, creating a place where families and friends could make lasting memories.

Because this is a large vacation home, performance in the short-term rental market was just as important as aesthetics. We selected timeless, age- and gender-neutral themed bedrooms that appeal to a wide range of guests while ensuring the home would remain relevant for years to come.

The outdoor living space became the heart of the design. By combining two oversized sectionals, we created a true gathering place where large groups could relax, share meals, and enjoy Florida's beautiful weather together. The finished space feels less like a rental home and more like a private boutique coastal resort.

Although we essentially started from scratch—replacing nearly everything in the home—we were intentional about working with what could be reused. Through thoughtful planning, strategic sourcing, and efficient project management, we delivered a complete transformation on an impressive budget and in record time.
